Each vertical module stores parts in height-optimized positions producing maximum storage capacity within a minimum footprint.
Size and spacing of storage positions are fully adaptable to the requirements of each customer. Hänel also offers customized special features such as Pick-o-Light for higher speed item location and retrieval and voice-control picking.
Lean-Lift® systems are equipped with microprocessor lift control systems to support efficient storage operations. The software provides for integrated systems management for full digital control of operations.

Extra high, extra wide access openings and electronically controlled, high-speed doors deliver items to workers at multiple locations at the correct, ergonomic height.
Light sensor precision
Integrated storage slot profiles are equipped with light barriers to measure part height and automatically select in the ideal, space-saving storage space.
Multifunctional containers
Hänel has a variety of container widths, depths and other features to accommodate storage of specific parts such as tool inserts, small parts and holders for milling cutters. For the electronics industry, containers can be supplied with an anti-static coating.
Custom solutions
Fold down support rails are available for heavy parts along with transporter carts and motorized ejectors. For pallet handling, access openings can be added “flush to the floor” to accommodate removal by hand trucks or fork lifts.
