State-of-the-art machinery such as plastic molding equipment require heavy metal tooling that traditionally was stored in long racks that occupied much of a facility’s floor space. Retrieval of the molds, which can weigh up to a ton, was a time-consuming and labor-intensive task.

Today, Hänel Lean-Lift® and Rotomat® equipment store multiple tools vertically and delivers them to the retrieval window automatically when needed…freeing up valuable floor space for production processes. With a total capacity of 60 tons the Hänel Lean-Lift® is ideal for the biggest jobs. Rotomat® carousels are well suited for sorting and storing smaller tools, measuring devices and consumables for various types of machines.
